LIGHTBEARERS

An Ember & Light Print Club

Beautiful, Jesus-centered art for your home—and for someone else's.

What does it mean to be a Lightbearer?

To be a Lightbearer is to live in a way that carries the light of Jesus beyond yourself.

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world” (John 8:12). He also told His disciples, “Ye are the light of the world” and “Let your light so shine before men” (Matthew 5:14, 16).

The light we carry comes from Him. We receive His love, mercy, hope, and goodness, and we carry those things with us into the lives of other people.

Most of the time, that happens in very ordinary ways. We notice someone who is lonely. We encourage someone who is discouraged. We feed someone, forgive someone, listen, mourn with someone, or make room for the person who feels left out. Sometimes we give something beautiful simply because another person came to mind.

Being a Lightbearer means becoming the kind of person through whom someone else can experience a little more of the love of Jesus.

Lightbearers is a monthly art subscription created around a simple idea: when something brings light into our lives, we can carry that light to someone else.

Each month features one Ember & Light painting, announced in advance and thoughtfully paired with a hand-signed letter and coordinating keepsakes. Every Lightbearer receives two 5x5 or 5×7 prints of that month's featured artwork.

One is for you. The second is meant to keep going.

Frame it for a friend. Slip it into a card for someone who's having a difficult week. Give it to your mom, your sister, a neighbor, a teacher, or someone you minister to. Or hold onto it until a person comes to mind.

Sometimes “I saw this and thought of you” is enough.

Each month, your Lightbearers package includes:

• Two 5x5 or 5×7 fine-art giclée prints of the month's featured Ember & Light painting

• A signed letter from me reflecting on the message behind that month’s artwork and what inspired it

• Two keepsake extras
